Dinner at Haldane’s Dining Room, wine included. (Across campus, a 10-minute walk from Pathfoot. This walk involves a gentle slope, but this can be avoided by taking a slightly longer route around the loch.)
Friday afternoon
An excursion into the Trossachs.
We travel by coach from Pathfoot to Loch Katrine, and take a cruise on the S.S. Sir Walter Scott.
Friday evening
Conference banquet at a seventeenth-century drovers’ inn a few miles above the university campus, near to the scene of the famous battle of Sheriffmuir.
Transport to and from the Inn included.
