Social Programme
- Thursday evening
Conference banquet at a seventeenth-century drovers’ inn a few miles above the university campus, near to the scene of the famous battle of Sheriffmuir.
Transport to and from the Inn included.
- Friday afternoon
An excursion into the Trossachs.
We travel by coach from Pathfoot to Loch Katrine, and take a cruise on the S.S. Sir Walter Scott.
- Friday evening
Dinner at Pathfoot Dining Room, wine included. (Across campus, a 10-minute walk from Pathfoot. This walk involves a gentle slope, but this can be avoided by taking a slightly longer route around the loch.)

NEW (May 11) An additional RLS-themed musical event (‘Stevenson and Song’) will take place following the dinner on Friday evening, also in Pathfoot Dining Room. This event will be separately ticketed and open to the public, but conference delegates will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets.
NB this additional event is not included in the social programme fee, having been arranged after the fee was set and collected.
